Thank you!

Thank you for checking out my blog!!!!

I love this blog, it is an opportunity to express my heart. And I so much appreciate you taking time from your daily life to receive what my heart writes, what my heart sings, what my heart feels, and what my heart wishes to share. It seems we all are going through such similar lessons, so may we all be each other's rock and strength in our transformation in this life. Bless you and love you! Naomi

It's been a long while since I've shared on this blog.

Throughout these posts, I find pictures, I find memories..

I've written about faith, love, hardships, joy...

And then I've stopped to remember how I love poetry, how I love creative expression, I love how the heart speaks, it sings, it feels, it loves.

So I will find a poem or so I wrote recently and share it.

Within the silence for there is no electricity or play
I turn to the beloved that I lost
I lost it to the wind
The wind of noise
It carried a more prestigious sound
A more distracting one
But it lied, for it always
led me there
Never here

Yet within the silence
Silence forces me to come back home

There is no television without electric

There is no light

There is no light but the endless light within my soul and within my heart

And as all the other lights turn off
The silence guides me back to the light that
always
has stayed on

And it's clear
And it's sweet
And it's calm
And it's subtle
And it's warm
The peace inside
That has never been lost, but just forgotten, until now

So dear night, I don't worry
I only thank you for the breeze of spring and the silence you offer, after the rain.

Life is like an intricate flower. Sometimes the flower blooms and sometimes it just doesn't. As much as we would want it to, sometimes it just doesn't. But within that closure of the bud, something happens. Something happens that is meant to happen. And in a morning without thought or reason, a magical scent from the garden appears. She comes forth and opens her heart again. And I open mine. And together we delight within the peace of sharing.

I miss you
I miss how you looked at me with such love
I miss you

You really really knew how to love
And I remember holding you
Holding you until your last day
I wasn't always strong
But I know you loved me anyway

I loved how your head rested on my lap
I would feel you calm
And as you would calm
My heart felt so at peace

I miss your breath
Each breath that breathed alongside me

I miss your warmth and sweetness
And how you shined with your little bright eyes
Whenever you looked at me
Luckily I still have a video of you looking back
And seeing me
With joy and excitement
You made me feel so loved
And accepted

Sometimes we become surprised when while going through something so difficult, the friends we trusted the most are not there for us. It can be upsetting and sad yet we may realize that in every human being there is suffering and when suffering exists within anyone (you know), then their ability to be there for you may be Limited. But it's okay. We can learn from things like this by learning how to be really good friends (by going thru its opposite).

Don't take it personally.

People do the best they can do. But whether its a learned behavior that they cannot feel empathy for another
(which is a form of suffering) or that they are going through something themselves that makes them unable to be there for you, pardon them, for your own peace of mind and heart. Otherwise it eats you up.

There comes a point when you value this body and mind (that has been loaned to you) so much that you have no time to waste to be less than kind to it. By pardoning others we are kind within. Pardoning doesn't mean that we have to continue to have an active friendship with them, but pardoning them even at a physical distance, helps maintain a healthy heart And mind, and so you  can ultimately wish them well and pray for their WellBeing. And then move on to yours too.

It's worth it. Sometimes our feelings may be so strong that reasoning it alone may not fully liberate us from this pain we may greatly feel.

Realizing that it is okay to feel whatever we feel is a good thing.

Allowing ourselves to feel whatever comes up is the act of leAst resistance.

By being the observer of what is, we bring whatever is our love and our kindness. Just like with a baby crying were not forcing baby to stop crying but instead we hug him or her with all our love and the love and space naturally melts any if his or her little suffering Away.

Upon allowing our feelings to be we shall feel lighter and calmer.

Inevitably we realize that we are not just our pain.

We may be ready to also connect to the aliveness within. With our hands. Our arms. Feet. Legs. Hips. Tummy. Back. Chest. Neck. Face. Head. We start connecting more and more to the peaceful vibrations within. Our inner body and the light of our essence becomes like a mother's love that gradually melts any of the remaining suffering into its love.

Love is grand. Love can heal mountains. It can heal so much. It is so worth it.

As we quiet our mind and feel the space inside, everything opens up to the light from within and it heals.

Everything that is not love eventually brings us back to love. Always does.

See the ego is part of this world because it is. We want to fence it off. We want to hate all who participate in it. We get angry with ourselves when we are led by our egos. We fight this fight continuously and get our hands so dirty in this battle. We hate when others treat us in ways that disturb our Morning or disturb our sleep. Yet the most amazing part of it is when we come to the realization that it is the ego our grandest hurdle. And without the hurdle we don't know what it's like to surpass it, to go beyond it. Above the mountain top there is a song of freedom and redemption. After the thunderstorms calm Their roars there is a silence unlike no other. After the darkness the sunrise seems quite sweet. It is the ego that catches our attention. It tricks us so easily. It always tries to. Yet there comes a time when we see this sickness is a sickness and we no longer blame ourselves or others. We just know we all can get stuck. So we understand that this is a hurdle we all as human beings must hurdle through. Some stay stuck in this Cold War for a long time. Some choose compassion. Some choose wisdom. Some choose grace. Some choose war. They judge the other yet they do the same thing, back and forth, until the eyes of the other are his own eyes and he with wisdom one day learns to come back home. This was all just a game, and by living through it we gain to see the bliss of our being. By seeing the darkness and its shadows we learn to finally see the stars, as we look up to the heavens with grace and gratitude.  For all that is not love eventually brings us back to love.

May we connect to the part of each other that is space, essence, light, eternal, and peace. As the outer body feels this light, magical things occur.
