If Naomi was Asian she'd look like this
she'd be holding an animal tenderly and say
"I love you, you're the best".
Sweet loving child
You are loved all the while.
You know you can see
how many hugs come tenderly, to you,
because you're cute,
you are sweet,
you speak truth.
If only you could be sure
of the love you endure.
Don't doubt yourself
if others do.
They are humans,
they don't see so well.
Don't measure your cup
by who is measuring.
You are a love worth expecting
much more than you do,
I truly love you.
You are the mountains and the stars.
I am never far apart.
I am with you in every way.
I love you,
I treasure you this day.
You are sweet songs to my heart.
You are lovely,
you know, I made you like that!
So don't give in to what people say.
They're fearful, they're scared,
they're jealous- just play
in the sweet grass
and with your loved ones
may you always remember to be open
and feel the grace.
I look at you through my soul.
look how lovingly my eyes glow
Its not that hard,
just see clearly,
remove the layers from the glasses
clean the shades
of mind and its perceptions
and you'll see more clearly
You'll have a more lucid view
and you'll be able to
shine as you appreciate everything
more sweetly and anew.
Life is precious when at this moment
we can treasure it.
As I horse if I can do it,
so you should also be able to master it..
In the meanwhile when you need a hug or two,
I'll be here to reinforce the truth
and you can use my coat and body to
pet me as I lovingly soothe you!
What if you knew you were gonna die tomorrow
What would you do?
Who would you be with?
What would you eat?
Would you go on a retreat?
And be with nature?
Or would you mingle in the city
And feed the pitty?
The ones without homes
Who are stranded, sad and lost.
Would you give them a word or two on wisdom
That love is a gentleness without mental reason.
That anyone can be in a place of love
Regardless of whatever wrong we've done or
Regardless of how much time of life- in this particular body-
we truly have of.
Would you stand in the rain and feel drops on your forehead
As they slide down your face?
Or would you watch your favorite movie and
throw popcorn at your loved one
while lying on your sofa in a silly funny way?
Would you put covers around both of you as you eat a lot of junk food?
I know before you probably ate only organic
But for once organic food-lay off…
Live life a little
And doesn’t it feel good to curse and who
Cares if others will judge or complain you’re not well…
Can you be okay with going off the edge
And spoiling yourself a little and test
The deep waters that before you were too scared to dwell?
Would you give a kiss to the one you
Were always too shy to kiss?
Or would you finally smile at your mom
While she is complaining over something
So trivial and shallow but looking at her kindly
Because it ultimately doesn’t matter what others see.
People can be in their own worlds
Entertaining the drama..
But would you join in or just smile it off
And wander your eyes outside the window and
Look at the trees gently being caressed by the breeze
and dancing melodically together with ease?
Lately I have been introspecting quietly
And seen the storms that in my mind
Sometimes take over violently.
The chatter goes on and on if I don’t guide it lovingly
Can I finally be brave enough and not whine
While I face it consciously?
I am truly ready to be free, to live through thee,
The path that I’ve longed for endlessly-
The path of love, through all existence,
The path that through kindness feeds
Life and all its existence.
Oh Dear God I’m courageous to be
The blissful mist of love that makes me be free.
At this moment I am free.
I am free to be the life, the aliveness
inside of me.
Can we see the fire and not just the torch?
What if the fire was inside and all we saw was the torch?
Would we one day be curious and place our hands towards and touch-
and feel the connection-
realize there is something in there,
of a different dimension,
that even though we can't see it,
we can somehow feel it
inside-
we can sense a heat, we can visualize a light-
and even though the mind wishes to ignore
and see only what in the surface odviously shows,
deep in the heart, one has a strong knowing-
that inside there is something more-
that's worth exploring.
