Children and Snails
All is well
When my heart dwells
At loving children who look at snails
Snails that innocently look up
And antennas they wear
I start to hiccup
Oh I can’t stop
The children smile
I sit on the tile
The flowers gaze
At the sunset above
The flowers pink
I look within
I look with love
My hiccups stop
The children mop
The floor that mom
Was mopping before she took a nap
We're responsible for you
To take care of you
and what great mommy and daddy
you decided to have to help you be trully you.
And I laugh and I giggle
As you clean your room
Because you look so cute
While you mop so clumsily
Reminds me how I just adore you
Quite so lovingly
Quite so sweetly
Quite so well
You are always in my heart
In there you dwell
May we share more times like these
Just simple days filled with ease
Filled with kindness and grace
My heart remembers your gentle face.
Some of the words in this poem are meant for one child I've grown to love and some other words are for another child I've grown to Love. Love you both!
Ahh!! my little sahi and mom.. miss my mom so much.. blessed to have sahi.. with all the smiles she brings to me.. all the love.. all the cute words.. most of all... "mama" is her best... she is growing so fast.. hoping to have many many more happy moments as this with all my beautiful friends..
